Current Favorite Beauty Products

Hey Everyone!!!

I am super excited to let you all know that I am back!!! I can't express to you all how much I have missed posting and interacting with you, but unfortunately I had to take some time away due to some personal issues and because my computer kicked the bucket. I just want to thank each and every one of you for being patient and sticking by me during the last couple of months, your support is greatly appreciated!

Today's post is going to be about my current favorite beauty products. It's been a while since I have written a post about my favorites so I thought I would share my current loves to kick off my return. Most of the products in this post are from the Drugstore (as usual) so without furtuer adieu, let's get started!

EYES

The first eye product I have been loving is this L'Oreal Paris Color Infaillible eyeshadow in the shade "027 Goldmine". These shadows are so amazing! They last forever on your lids without primer or any other base and the finish of them is stunning. This shade in particular is a shimmery gold color, perfect for the lid with a dark brown mate shade in the crease. I want to go back and get all the shades in this collection - drugstore eyeshadows don't get much better than this!

From top to bottom: "Too Cool", "Tough As Taupe" and "Painted Purple".

The next eye product I have been absolutely adoring are these Color Tattoo By Eye Studio 24hr eyeshadows. These have been compared by many to products such as MAC Paint Pots and Stila Smudge Pots. While I have tried neither of the higher end versions, I have to give these a 10/10! These work best as bases under an eyeshadow look and that is what I use them for the most. I have not worn them for 24 hours straight but I did wear them for 16 hours and they did not crease, fade, or budge and the shadows I wore on top were just as vibrant as they were when I put them on. Go get you some of these if you do not have them and need a product to help your shadows stay on all day!

The third eye product I have been loving is Revlon PhotoReady 3D Volume mascara in "Blackest Black". I love this mascara for so many reasons, but I am going to be doing a review on it in a future post so I am not going to go too much into detail here. The main reason why it is a favorite is because of the brush, it allows you to coat every single eye lash with mascara making them all visible and very voluminous. Take a look at the brush in the photo above, I took the  photo when it was unopened so hopefully you can kinda see how  it looks.

The final eye product I want to share with you is Hard Candy's Walk the Line liquid eyeliner in the shade "Licorice". This is a black liquid eyeliner but what I love about it, is that it has so many multicolored glitters in it! It adds just a simple touch of glam to every eye look. I have been using it almost every day lately!

LIPS

From left to right: "Peach Kiss", "Cherry Me", "Peppermint" and "Quenched".

These Maybelline New York Baby Lips lip balms are the bomb! I will forever buy these as long as they sell them! They work better than Carmex, EOS lip balm, Blistex etc in the moisturization department. The clear ones provide a nice gloss to your lips while moistuizing them and the colorful ones are pigmented and add just the perfect flush of the shade to your lips while moisturizing just as good as the clear ones. They also smell and taste phenomenal. The price is phenomenal too - $4 at Walmart!

The second and last lip product I am going to share is NYX's Mega Shine lip gloss in the shade "Golden Pink." I love the formulation of these glosses, they are super moisturizing and this shade is so pretty; it compliments my skin tone so nicely.

FACE

This Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew anti dark circle roller has been my savior the past couple of months. I didn't get very much sleep and this product definitely took away all of the puffiness and dark coloration under my eyes, I highly recommend trying it if you haven't yet!

Another great product for the face that I can't get enough of lately is Hard Candy's Fox in a Box blush in "Smooth Talker" - when you combine the four colors together, it gives you the most beautiful peachy glow. I love peach and tangerine shades for Spring this year so this one will be a favorite for more months to come I am sure!

QUO Beauty On The Go Palette

My best friend gifted this palette to me for Christmas this past year. I cannot explain in words how beautiful everything in this palette is! The pigmentation of the lipstick, eyeshadows and blush is outstanding and very long lasting. I take this palette everywhere with me - it is perfect for a neutral look on the go!

NAILS

I had my first Essie experience in the month of February - the products I got are favorites (of course :)). I WILL be getting more Essie nail polishes very soon!

Here is what I have been able to try from Essie so far:

I was very pleased with the performance and quality of this top coat. It dries my manis and pedis within one minute, makes them shiny and allows my nail polish to last for up to 7 days without chipping. I prefer it over other fast dry top coats that I've tried such as China Glaze's Fast Forward top coat and Seche Vite.

The second Essie product I decided to try was the one above from their Luxeffects collection that came out around Christmas time I believe. This is a glittery top coat in the shade "as gold as it gets" - it has tiny round gold glitters combined with some bigger round glitter. It looks so awesome over top of black polish. I am so happy with both of my Essie purchases!

I have been obsessed with glitter polishes lately, I just got this Sally Hansen Hard As Nails glitter top coat in "Ice Queen" a few weeks ago and have been wearing it on my nails ever since. It has small rainbow glitter with big circles mixed in that are light pink and dark royal blue. It is totally in trend for Spring 2012 and it looks so pretty on top of almost any other color or on it's own.

BRUSHES

I only have one brush that I have been loving enough for it to be a true favorite:

This Eco Tools retractable kabuki brush is a must have and if you don't have it in your collection you definitely should! It is the best for keeping in your purse to use on the go. It is such a versatile brush and I love that it has a cover on it so it stays clean and sanitary no matter where you take it!

The last product I want to talk about is the lotion that has saved my dry, itchy skin this winter:

It's Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Moisturizing lotion. This makes my skin feel soft and revived after just one use! It soaks in fast and has a non greasy formula but what is most important is that it really does work! My sister and I swear by this stuff and use it on ourselves and our families.

So that is everything I have been using and loving for the past little while, I hope you all enjoyed! Thank you from the bottom of my heart once again for bearing with me while I was away. Beauty and fashion are truly what I am passionate about and I love being part of a community that is passionate about it too. If you would like a detailed review of any of the products mentiond, request request request in the comments below!
