Hey loves,

I know, I am really on a roll with blog posts lately, but I am just having so much fun with this that I can't stop posting. Nothing wrong with that right? This is a Beauty Questions blog - I basically went and found a bunch of beauty related questions from tags, and I am gladly going to answer them for you all. I will do a Personal Questions blog someday, when I have more subscribers and people who want to get to know me on a personal level. If you are reading this, enjoy!

Here are the questions:

Do you apply your foundation with a brush, sponge, or fingers? I use my fingers a lot of the time but sometimes I do use sponges and brushes depending upon the foundation.

Do you apply your eye shadow from light to dark? or dark to light? Typically: light color on the lid, dark color in the crease, darker color in the outer corner and outer V, and a light color again on the brow bone to highlight.

Do you prime your eyes? ALWAYS, my eye lids are so oily that my shadows just don't last without it!

Concealer first, or after foundation? After, I use concealer to cover up what my foundation doesn't.

Go for manicures, or manicure yourself? I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE doing my own manicures and I love nail art...I would never pay someone else to do them for me!


On average, how long does it take you to do your makeup? Depends on where I am going and what I am doing and if photos are going to be taken. On a normal day, I'd say it probably takes me about 20 minutes to a half an hour.

Do you wear makeup everyday and everywhere? Unless I am sick or in a hurry, YES!


What release are you most excited about? I was most excited for Hard Candy's Fall 2011 release, which has come out, and I LOVE IT!! I am not really excited about any more at this point in time.

Do you whiten your teeth? No, but I have been considering it lately. (Too much caffeine!! lol)


Wax eyebrows, or pluck? I pluck and groom mine myself.


What do you use to contour? Depends on the day, usually NYC's matte bronzer in "Sunny".


False lashes, or natural? Natural for daily life, false lashes can look gorgeous for parties, going out, or other events like that.

Liquid eyeliner, pencil or gel? I love and use all 3!

Lipstick, lipgloss or chapstick? Once again, I love and use all 3. On a daily basis!


What skin type do you have? Oily in the Summer, very Dry in the Winter.


What brand of mascara do you use? I like NYX's Doll Eye mascara in Volume and L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes.

What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or brand)? Wet n Wild's Brulee is my all time favorite shade. I also love NYX's Rootbeer, it's a purply taupe brownish color, and NYX is my favorite brand for eyeshadow too.

Name a makeup crime that you hate? Improper application!!

lip gloss or lipstick: Lip Gloss
eye liner or mascara: Mascara
foundation or concealer: Concealer, cause you can always mix that with moisturizer to make foundation!
neutral or color eye shadow: Neutral
pressed or loose eye shadows: I prefer working with pressed but I love loose too.
brushes or sponges: Brushes
OPI or china glaze: China Glaze!!!
perfume or body splash: Depends on the day and where I am going.
lotion or body butter: Lotion - but I do love body butter too!
body wash or soap: Body wash
jeans or sweat pants: Jeans
dresses or skirts: Dresses
stripes or plaid: Stripes
flip flops or sandals: Both!
scarves or hats: Scarves
studs or dangly earrings: Dangly for sure!
necklaces or bracelets: Necklaces
heels or flats: Heels
jacket or hoodie: Hoodie, I love them!
forever 21 or charlotte russe: Love them both, but can't beat Forever 21, so fashionable, so affordable!!
curly or straight hair: My hair is naturally curly
bun or ponytail: Messy bun!!
bobby pins or butterfly clips: Bobby pins are a must have for a woman!!
